Nairuby is a community organization that seeks to promote computer
software programming skills with the Ruby programming language.

Nairuby has held over 100 meetups (there is a monthly meetup held in
Nairobi) and has a sister organization Rails Girls that aims to increase the
percentage of female developers. Nairuby has organized 4 successful
International conferences and 15 workshops in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania
and Rwanda. Nairuby members also create open source applications that
are of use to the wider Ruby community and showcase software
development skills available.
